How old do you have to be to buy a Childs’ ticket?

A Child ticket can be used for children aged between 3 and 11 years old. For children under the age of 3, entry is free as long as the child sits on the lap of an accompanying ticket holder. Should a child under the age of 3 wish to occupy a seat, please purchase a Child ticket to your selected session. Gold Room sessions are strictly for Ages 5+.

Can I buy tickets online?

Yes, tickets are sold online for all sessions unless advertised as Buy In Person (BIP) only items.

Why am I charged a booking fee online?

As with many other booking services, we charge a booking fee. Booking online means that you can relax knowing that you have a seat for your selected session. Booking fees cover the costs associated with administration, processing and handling. Booking fees do not apply when you buy tickets at the ticket box.

I got an error message when booking tickets. What should I do?

Do not attempt to process the booking again. Contact our friendly Customer Service team via email HERE, phone on (07) 4972 0015 or head into the cinema .

If you saw a confirmation page containing your booking details after your ticket purchase was processed, you can still collect your tickets from the counter (where available use the express queue).

If you did not see a confirmation page or if you are unsure, please contact our friendly Customer Service team as above.

I have booked my tickets online. Do I still need to go to the ticket box?

Yes. You must present any concessions or relevant IDs to the main counter (where available use the express queue) and collect your tickets in person.

I want to pay with a paper gift product and another payment method – is this possible?

Unfortunately, we require Paper Gift Vouchers be redeemed in person only. We accept other payment types for bulk purchasing and some corporate sales. 

By entering Gladstone Cinemas / Yeppoon Cinemas, all patrons agree to the following conditions.

Valid tickets must be presented for entry. Patrons may be required to wait in the foyer until their cinema is ready for seating.

Footwear must be worn at all times. Management may refuse entry where dress, footwear, behaviour or presentation is unsafe or inappropriate.

No food or beverages purchased outside the cinema are permitted. Exceptions may be made for genuine medical, allergy, infant or accessibility needs at management’s discretion.

Bag checks may be conducted as a condition of entry. Refusal to comply may result in entry being refused.

Prohibited items include outside food and drinks, alcohol not purchased at the venue, glass, cans, aerosols, large bags, laser pointers, scooters, skateboards, bikes, weapons, illegal items, or anything management considers unsafe or disruptive.

This is a licensed venue. Alcohol may only be purchased and consumed in accordance with Queensland liquor laws and venue rules. Valid ID may be required. Intoxicated, disorderly or underage persons will be refused alcohol service and may be refused entry or removed.

No smoking or vaping is permitted anywhere inside the cinema premises.

Correct ID must be presented for concession, student, senior, age-restricted films, licensed areas, alcohol service, or any discounted or restricted ticket type.

Film classification rules apply. Patrons may be refused entry where age, guardian or proof-of-age requirements are not met, including MA15+ and R18+ sessions.

Children must be supervised by a responsible parent, guardian or carer at all times.

Phones and electronic devices must be switched off or silenced during the movie. No photography, filming, audio recording, screen recording or livestreaming is permitted at any time.

Talking, phone use, moving around, running, shouting, offensive language, harassment, intimidation, throwing items or disruptive behaviour may result in removal without refund.

Feet must not be placed on seats, armrests, walls or railings. Patrons must not damage, misuse or interfere with cinema property.

Patrons are responsible for any damage, loss or excessive cleaning caused by their actions. Repair, replacement or cleaning costs may be charged, and further action may be taken where appropriate.

All vouchers, gift cards, passes, offers and promotions must be used in accordance with their stated terms and expiry dates. Expired vouchers cannot be extended or accepted.

Refunds, exchanges and session changes are subject to cinema policy and may not be available once a session has commenced.

CCTV may be in use for safety, security and loss prevention.

Management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any patron who breaches these conditions, fails to follow staff direction, behaves inappropriately, appears intoxicated, causes disruption, or presents a risk to staff, patrons or property.

Failure to comply with these conditions may result in refused entry or removal without refund.

Groups are considered for discounts when 20+ seats required.

What time does the cinema open?

Our opening hours vary depending on the day, season, school holidays, public holidays, and current movie release schedule.

We are open 15 minutes prior to advertised movie sessions. Please check our website for the most up-to-date session times, as these are the best guide to when the cinema is open.

9.00am is generally Front Doors Open, ealier in summer. Closing Time is 15 minutes after the last advertised movie time. Usually around 7.30pm weeknights & 9.15pm on weekends.

Who can I contact about lost property?

Our cinemas are thoroughly cleaned after every session and all lost property is safely stored. We recommend that you revisit the cinema and describe the item and we will have the lost property checked for your item. If it is a valuable item such as a phone or wallet, please contact us asap via phone and also via email with a description of the item, the cinema and session that you attended HERE

My Gift Voucher has expired. Can I get a replacement or can they be extended?

We accept Gift Vouchers until the expiry date is reached. Unfortunately we are unable to extend or replace expired Gift Vouchers, so please ensure you make note of the expiry date.

Can I bring my own food and beverages to the cinema?

Only food and beverages purchased from Gladstone Cinemas can be consumed in our cinema complex.

IS GAME ON OPEN?

Game On (laser tag and games arcade) is closed permanently. We do have a selection of arcade games available for play in the main cinema foyer. Coins  accepted.

Can I change my online booking after purchase?

All bookings made on our website are not transferable or refundable unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

I have been charged more than once for my online booking. How do I get a refund?

If the session time has not started, head to the ticket box and ask to speak to the manager on duty who will be able to arrange a refund or take your details for the next available Senior Management who will refund via phone or card. If your session has passed, please email us via the Contact Us page with the cinema location, movie title, session time and booking number and our Customer Service team will be able to advise you further.
